Life maybe difficult, you might go through storms remember always, life is worth living so “Love your life, perfect your life, Beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and Its purpose in the service of your people.” – Shawnee by Chief Tecumseh
To every #young man and woman who paticpated or supported the #feesmustfall movement I salute you, I #honor you and I thank God for you and as I pray for you, I pray: “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an #example for the believers in #speech, in conduct, in #love, in #faith and in purity. ” – 1 Timothy 4:12

My mother was part of the class of #1976, fought, studied and they thought the battle was won! When I had to go to primary school my educated mother had to humble herself, lie and pretend to be her friends domestic worker just to get me into school. Education for my parents has always been important, to my mom and late dad I salute you, I honor you and I thank you, you and dad always told me to stand for what I believe in! As the #feesmustfall campaign continues I’d like to remind you no matter what race or background you come from you can make a difference, we all stand to gain when the fees fall, my prayers are with those in protest and I urge you not to burn down buldings, instead let us stand united and build towards a better tomorrow!
The scriptures that I’d like to share with you today:
“The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone” – Psalm 118:22;
“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” – Galatians 6:9
“When you avoid the battle you were born for you‘ll face a battle you‘re not equipped for.” – 2 Sam. 11:1-5.
Today I learned that: “#Insecure #marketing is used in women’s #advertising.” For example page 2 reads: “Be you”, page 3 is a women with a placard that reads ”I’ve just had my breasts done, but the biggest change you’ll see is on my face.”
As a women whats your take?
I’m not a “#coconut”, I’m well spoken, I’m African, I’m proud of who I am, that’s why I never changed my first name Tsakane, to my second name Melody to make it easier for anyone to pronounce… Melody doesn’t make me less African!
It was my musician friend Tyrone Holy Madiba who made fall in love with my second name even more, he defines Melody as “The best part of every song,” so he says my parents think I’m the best part of every song… How cute is that?
Be you, be authentic, choose to see the beauty in all you see, research, read, love, live, always be open to lean and appreciate the people around you.
Be blessed, and be a blessing to others!
Sometimes we get so caught up that we forget that we are well and able. Not many of us have positive people (yes team/ cheerleaders) to remind of this, take some time everyday to repeat these words to yourself: “I am well and able”, trust me in no time you will believe these very words, cause you are well and very able. Belief is the first step to accomplishing great things.
